How long have you been re-enacting?
I have been re-enacting for 4 years now with my real life husband, who is Sir Gerolf, the Black Knight.
What's your inspiration for doing this type of combat/re-enactment?
Just like my husband, I grew up right down the street from the Kansas City renaissance faire and went there every year. I love to be involved with “the guys”, and there is never a shortage of things to do in the group. We’ll be introducing our two sons to this fun atmosphere by getting them in garb and letting them run around as “page” and “squire” for my husband. They are the greatest little boys and have a blast doing this with us!
